Something really special happened last Friday evening .We were taking an early evening walk with our dog on Dun Laoghaire Pier.There were so many people out walking enjoying the sunshine,eating ice creams, soaking up the atmosphere.
Just as we were finishing our walk and heading for home I spotted a couple of familiar faces walking in the opposite direction. I suddenly realized they were two new members I had introduced a couple of weeks earlier.
I was so delighted to see them together,looking so relaxed and happy, it gave me a great lift.
Moments like that are so rewarding ……..makes it all worthwhile!
