Finding your person is no easy task, here at Two’s Company we know that. And we are more than happy to help. Today we are helping by sharing what we have learnt, as match makers for almost twelve years, about what men look for in women.
Recently, we wrote about what women look for in men. We find it interesting to note the similarities and differences on each list.
1. Appreciation
Men are starved for appreciation. No man is going to come right out and say it, so you’re really going to have to take our word for it! In relationships, women mostly want to feel loved and understood. What men want most is to be appreciated and respected.
First date or four year anniversary, the important thing is to appreciate the little things a man does for you. If you do, he will go out of his way to do the big things as well.
2. Confidence
This is a big one for the men! They radiate towards women who are comfortable in their own skin and happy with their life decisions. It doesn’t mean you have to be the perfect Instagram version of a woman, it just means it’s best to be content and confident in yourself before you seek somebody else.
3. A Listener
Believe it or not, sometimes men need to talk too! Being compassionate, supportive, and encouraging towards a man is a huge part of building a successful relationship with him.
4. Humour
We established in our last post how important it is to women for the man in their life to have a generally good sense of humor, and twelve years in the business has taught us that it’s equally as important in the other direction as well! It is important for a couple to be able to be playful and joke around with each other. It helps lighten the mood, makes extended periods of time together more fun, and laughing together never gets old.
5. Loyalty
Men often express to us that they want to know they can rely on somebody. If you’ve met somebody special, don’t be afraid to let them know they are special and that you will be loyal. Games don’t work!
